Adobe Premiere and After Effects CS3
Hi,
Please consider I am *green* (totally new) to digital video editing software. Just installed Adobe CS3 (Premiere and after effects). Haven’t used that yet….Now in the process of buying a HDD camera. wish to do videos for web as well as for home TVs. Looking between a Sony SR45 or a Canon HG10.
However, I read that Adobe Premiere CS3 do not natively support the AVC HD format that the Canon (my most interesting choice, considering the price I am willing to pay and the reviews I had read), is indeed AVC HD.
1) Should I go for a camera that does that format over a non-HD camera?
2) If the Canon does AVC HD, does this mean it does *only* that format, or can I use the cam to record in standard (non-HD, non AVC HD) that Adobe CS3 programs can use ?
I wish to have the best cam for the price, but yet, to be able to use my (highly paid) software.
Any recommendation ?
Thanks,
Rob
