Okay, so I created a solid layer (3d layer on), I have a photo (3d layer on) in the comp that I want to cast a shadow onto the solid layer. I have added a new light (spot) to do just that… for some reason the light isn’t doing anything!

I have turned on ‘casts shadows’ on the light, ‘accepts’ and ‘casts’ shadows on my other objects, and still nothing…
I have added a camera and the shadow darkness is 100%

I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong, I’ve done this before, but for some reason this time is different. Thanks for any help,

    Aza

The flat ambient lighting doesn’t change at all when you turn the light on? Have you checked to make sure you have Draft 3D turned off? It’s the third icon from the left at the top of the timeline in CS3.
