    Hi,

I was wondering if some of the forum members would please share their experiences if they have worked with and edited HD footage shot with the Canon T3i.

Are there any problems transferring footage to the Mac?

Has anyone worked with all the different frame rates the T3i offers?

Have you experienced any problems out putting a final project?

What have your final products been – on-line web videos, films, broadcast TV – and how have they looked?

Could you share some links of your work?

    Thanks for your feedback!

    Howie

    Hi

sorry for my rotten english its not my native language

I had worked with that camera and i hadn’t had problems at all, i convert my material to Apple pro res HQ an then import it to FCP and everything runs fine. Worked with 1920×1080 30p, and exported to H.264 not even messed with the codec settings and used Export- Using QTConversion

Working with different frame rates its now a problem i have with the 60D and a H.264 exporting. I worked with the same workflow and its not seeing well the resulting video is jumping in the pannings. like its running good and then stops for and instant and then continues, notice if i manipulated the frame rate it went worst and if use Broad Band High it impruves but do not respect aspic ratio nor sizes.

I guess i wasn’t given you a lot of help bit guess I’m in the same problem

Not really mi client didn´t notice but what if this happens again? I had spoken to the ones that recorded and seems they may had recorded with 24 frame rate instead 30, my settings on time line and material used for editing are 30, maybe i didnt notice before the exportation to Appel Pro res LT if the H.264 original files were at that frame rate (24), but even though i have exported it to 30 right? wHATt could be the problem WITH THE EXPORTED MATERIAL

Its a big doubt i will have forever until someone knows what hapenned. I had spoken to editors, read about the proper exportations, tried exporting QT and then using mpegstreamclip and then converted to mpeg4 i mean i had done everything that is in my power

    Had you solved the problem?
