Audio pitch controlled time remapping?
Hi everyone, this is a two-part question.
1) Is it possible to extract the PITCH (frequency) data from an audio file and use it as keyframes. I know how to do it with the amplitude, but I’m wondering if it can detect the actual tone of a wav.
2) Is it possible to take these keyframes, and use them only to advance forward? eg: if it’s a low pitched tone, the video would play in slow motion, and as the audio tone gets higher – the video speed increases?
I want to create an animation that is controlled by an audio track – I want it to progress slower when the audio is at a low note, and quicker when it’s at a high note. At no point should the video reverse, although it should be stationary if the soundtrack is silent.
Thanks everyone!
