    Hi. New to this.

Is it possible to animate text, for example, spin text, along the vertical axis? Are there x y z coordinates like in AfterEffects?

    Thanks in advance

The trick is to scale it on the X-axis only. Keyframe from 100% to -100% and back. Leave the Y axis values alone.

Thanks for the reply. My apologies if this seems mundane…but how do I tweek the x,y values, can’t seem to find these variables. Thanks in advance. Is there a simple tutorial you could lead me to?

Select the text object, press the F1 key to open Properties in the Inspector, and twirl open the Scale parameter to see the x and y coordinates and keyframe the x scale separately.

Why not just use the Basic 3D filter in the Distortion section? While still faking 3D it allows you to control XYZ/HBP rotation. It also allows for you to add a back face input.
