    Thank you very much guys, in the meanwhile I found the solution via Subtitle Edit. So far what has worked best for me was transcoding them to an image sequence with alpha inside of Subtitle Edit and export as a Final Cut Pro XML. The pt_ImportSubtitles script is thereby obsolete.

    Thank you Steve for your explenation, it’s exactly what I did. I am sure there are enough folks looking for that solution.

    Looks good, but as a filmschool student are 245 € not in the budget…

    Thank you Danny for your advice. But since I never bought Final Cut Studio, DVD Pro Studio is not a solution to me and Sonic is far over my budget.

    Semms like rewritable media becomes my best friend…sigh…

    What you can do is making a subsequence of the sequence A and edit into sequence B. Make an IN and OUT and then drag the little sequence icon from your record monitor (the right windows) into your bin and you will have a subsequence. Hope that helps.
