    This was my workflow:
I captured 24PA footage in Premiere Pro.
After locking my final edit, I exported act 1 and 2 to Quicktime at 23.976 fps.
I imported the Quicktime movies into After Effects. When I created the Comp to hold them, I set it to 23.976 fps. This comp shows as 23.976 in the project window.
I set the Quicktime files to 23.976 as well under Interpret Footage, but they are still showing as 23.98 in the gray project window. I can’t get it to change.

Does AE normally round files with interpreted 23.976 fps to 23.98 fps in the Project Window?

The sequence is broken up into two ten minute sections.

Does AE normally round it fps for 23.976 to 23.98 in the Project window?

I had the same problem you did with importing the Premiere Pro project into After Effects for onlining. I ended up having to export A and B rolls to Quicktime, with Animation codec, and then importing them back into After Effects. I then had to split every clip at the edit point. A pain I know, but it will fix your cadence problem and you can directly color correct at 23.976 instead of the weird 24PA pulldown that AE wants to do.
