  • FCP7 and FCPX and Motion 5.3.1 works just fine on my Yosemite. FCPX has difficulty quitting. BTW Every time I upgrade to the newest operating system I clone the previous drive to a new drive so I can always go back (God forbid) if I need to. I am a video editor. 🙂

OK Here is the best solution I discovered for me for this multi cam audio popping. First edit in your multi cam clip to the time line. Then lower its audio track to 0db. Then edit just the audio of the best camera angle audio on an additional audio track below the multi cam audio track at the same in point of your multi track. Since it is on its own track it will not be affected by the multi cam cuts. This also allows you to put audio effects on it as well.

I hope this works for you.

  • Set your filter on 1 clip in your sequence. Then copy that clip.(command C ) Then go and command click (highlight) all the clips that you would like to apply that filter to and then right click on 1 of them and scroll down to paste attributes. When the window pops up check the filter box. All your clips will then have the same filter.
