    Ruby,

Volume is a degree of loudness, gain is an increase in said volume … The purpose of the session side is to adjust your volumes on the differnt tracks to get a proper mix … You want to be able to hear each track clearly … This is accomplished in part by adjusting the volume … I hope this clearifies things for you … WILLIE

First why do you want to group all the sessions together when it’s just the mixdown that you need to use? It seems to me that you are working harder than you need to on this ……. WILLIE

All you have to do is bring it into the edit side, go to EDIT at the bottom of the menu you will see CONVERT SAMPLE RATE click on it and choose the sample rate you desire ……….. WILLIE

Just do a mixdown by going to EDIT > MIXDOWN TO FILE > ALL AUDIO CLIPS when you get the mixdown you can save it as an MP 3 ……….. WILLIE

    Jimmy,

Now your question can certainly open a can of worms … Audition is the only audio program I have used and my music and sound tracks have been broadcast on radio and tv to my complete satisfaction … I am sure if you asked 10 differnt people who have had any time recording digital audio you are going to get 10 simular but differnt answers … From my experience with this program over the last 8 + years, (was cool edit) I can say yes it will do the job you want and do it very well … As for a keyboard or synth, it depends on what kind of sound you are looking for … For the website you will have to compress so I would start with the best possible recording I can get, here asgain some will tell you to use as high a sample rate as you can but I feel 441 will be just fine at 32 bit with a mixdown to 16 … Good luck with everything ………….. David,

It’s hard to determine where the problem is, personally I feel you may have a corrupt disk … Since you already have purchased the program I don’t see why I can’t mail you a known good copy of Audition just E-mail me your address at loganonestudio@aol.com … This way we can get closer to the problem ……… WILLIE

    David,

No my friend this is not a common problem … Is the copy a production copy or a copy of a copy? WILLIE
