Bahringer makes some affordable mixers, (under a 100 bucks) that will do the job … I would also check into a multi channel soundcards …

Try to right click on a file and go to RENAME and change the file extension to .avi, it’s a shot in the dark but it may work ………. WILLIE

If after effects won’t take it then audition won’t so I would think that it’s not a true AVI … Do you have Pre Pro? If so try importing it into Pre Pro … If you have the same problem then that pretty well is the answer … Wish I had some resolution for you but I don’t at this point ……….. WILLIE

You can do a ctrl+shift+space (which you can change if you go to OPTIONS > KEYBOARD SHORTCUTS > TRANSPORT/PLAY ALL/PAUSE TOGGLE, or use your mouse and hit pause on the transport at the bottom left of the screen … Personally I am old school and use the mouse ……………. EILLIE

If After Effects can’t deal with it I am pretty sure it’s your file extension that is your problem since it handles the same file extensions as Audition ……….. WILLIE
