Woah! Boy! That’s good for a few laughs!

Sorry if that seems mean but take a walk back to a few years ago when Apple did the switch from FCP 7 to FCP X. Do you not remember how many of us in the pro community were given the shaft by Apple in terms of support for all our third party gear. Let alone Apple’s claim that you could NOT import your FCP 7 projects into FCP X, but low and behold, within a couple months someone in the community put out a little $5 add on that allowed you to do just that. Apple truly, only cares about its own bottom line. That is why you saw a mass exodus from FCP to both Avid and Premiere Pro and because of that bad taste, I will not go back to Apple Software.

Heck, there are times I’ve been on a gig and suddenly needed to edit a piece, downloaded DaVinci Resolve for FREE and used that to get by. Does a great job in a pinch!

So I am sorry to say, but you get no sympathy from this once, severely burned-by-Apple FCP user and I will have nothing to do with another petition to Apple.

    Thank you, Fernando!

And great tutorial as well. Picked up a couple more pointers, which I really appreciate!

Only recently have I discovered the COW, and I have been greatly inspired and challenged in my productions. I have only been reading and watching Aharon’s podcasts and posts for a few months now, but I feel as though I’m losing a brother. Thank you for teaching an old dog some new tricks and may your life be greatly enhanced by the most precious gift of a little girl…
