So I saved and exited CC then rebooted (cold) computer… Did test render in to out, works fine audio and all…

Just encountered the same problem. Have had AEFX CS3 working fine on this machine till today. Just made the mistake of allowing Apple to update some software. Now it looks like I’m in for days of lost time….
