What should my settings be for exporting mpeg to mpeg?

I just like the high-gloss quality I see on many DVD’s.
I have an Epson R300 myself.
I create my labels in Photoshop but feel I am losing too much of the on-screen quality to the “matte” finish.
Since my post, I found that TDK makes high-gloss printables, but they cost $3.99 per disc. Can’t see myself buying a 100 pack of these any time soon.

After my post, I found that TDK makes them. The cheapest I’ve seen though is $3.99 per each, a little too steep for me. Maybe they’ll come down.

Thanks Sameer
Luckily I found a similar video clip that I used in the defective one’s place. Nevertheless, I am going to try your suggestion in After Effects for the possibility of future problems.
Again, Thanks

I found that MusicMatch Jukebox will allow me to record mp3’s as mp3’s and I can get 200 to 300 songs on one CD. The only requirement is that the CD player used to play them must play mp3’s. My living room stereo does, but my new Toyota’s stereo doesn’t. That’s what we in the South call “six of one – a half dozen of another.”

Bet you’d never guess that I am brand new to Audition 1.5 -(Ha). I got it as part of a bundle and really have much use for it.
I am somwhat amazed, though, that such a high-dollar program will allow working with playlists but will not allow saving them. I have MusicMatch Jukebox, but figured Audition might do a better job.
Thanks, I will edit with Audition and burn with MusicMatch.

A stored data file will not play in a CD player.
I guess I am not explaining myself well enough.
What I am trying to understand is why a 3mb data file can be loaded and played instantly using any audio software out there, yet, I can only get 24 of these 3mb files on an 800mb CD. (24x3mb=72mb) Why can I only get 72mb worth of music on an 800mb CD?
My guess is that all CD burning programs convert mp3 data files to 16 bit stereo files which increases the file size by about (x 10).

Hello again,
There must be a tremendous enlarging of the MP3 datafile before it goes to CD. I have 450 MP3’s that total 1.09 Gb. Not knowing the 99 file limitation, I had hoped that I could get all these songs on two discs. I now see that I can’t.
Still, I am having trouble understanding how (30 mp3’s x 3mb = 90mb) is all that will fit on an 800mb CD. What happens to the size of the file from the time it is transferred from the hard disk to the CD?
Under the above conditions, it doesn’t seem practical to create a CD from .mp3’s when I can get as many or almost as many .wav files on there.
Thanks alot,

I did quite a bit of hiking in the Great Smokies a couple of weeks ago. On my search for waterfalls, I came across a bear who was willing to pose for me right out there in the middle of nowhere.
As for the falls, I am trying to slow them down but I am losing quality at every speed that I try.
I went from AP 6.0 to APPro 1.5 and have found 3 or 4 things that worked better in 6.0. I’ll check out “virtual dub”.
