Yeah I had this same error pop up on me as well. What did to get around the problem was 1. Disable any effects on the clips then try a render preview. If that didn’t work I would select a different clip, disable its effect then do a render preview. Once the render preview was successful, I would enable the effects on the clips then do render preview. Most times this worked for me.

The increase in file size is my actual project (.proj). I didn’t have this problem in CS55, just in CS6

Hey Stan,

I had that same problem using cs5, the way people have worked around it was by disabling their antivirus programs such a “Avast”.

If this solves the problem, do at your own risk, it never safe especially on PC to have antivirus off.

Hey Nick Karner,

The way you upscale the footage in Premiere CS5 or 5.5, is select the footage, right-click (Option+Click for Mac) select “Scale to Frame” after doing that, slow down the footage to 40% for a clean slow motion.
