There is definitely an issue here – when deleting text
either backspacing
or “pasting over” using text selected in another programme such as Word
or FnBackspace for a selection.

It’s crashing nearly every time – making subtitling a real pain in the ….

Did anyone ever find a solution? I’m using FCP 10.2.3

it’s a 120 min doc, each location shot with the 2 cameras… this is going to be a nightmare ????

Hi Matt,
Thanks for your suggestions.
Unfortunately I did import them all on the same day.
The dups were all over the place, not just every other file – so not really possible to mark them all up simply (for deletion or for rating). In the end I went through and deleted all the individual duplicates – 500 of them, on both the main drive and backup!

If any one else has any suggestions I’d still be interested to hear for the future.
(Yes I am confident in my ability to repeat my mistake again)

I’m also buying this camera. I had asked about the MEAD adapters and I was advised against. The cards in the adapter would work, but some menu functions would be disabled, and if I need to meet EBU (broadcast) requirements, such as 50Mbps then the lower grade cards would not work. Has anyone else found this is true? would be nice to have the cheaper cards as backup.

Can anyone tell me the duration of the SxS 64GB or the SxS 32 GB cards when recording HD 422 50Mbps?

I can’t find how many recording minutes to expect on any of the sites for these cards (Sony SBP-64B 64GB SxS Card or Sony Sbs-32G1A memory card 32gb sxs-1a card udf)
