I use the Channel Blend filter to do color space conversions–in particular, converting from BT601(SD) to BT709 (HD). Some applications I use (e.g. Mercalli SAL and Proshow Producer) apply the SD color coefficients when rendering HD files, resulting in some color inaccuracies. Just click on the position bar above the mask bar and it will turn blue. You can only select position or mask. You have selected “mask”.

If you are working on your slideshow project by chance(?), and your project size is 1920×1080 or 1280×720, then your field order will the “Progressive” and your “pixel aspect ratio” will be 1.0.

Extensions can usually be found in one of three places. Tools|Extensions, View|Extensions, or Edit|Extensions (although I’ve never seen one here).

You have to create your own. Very easy. Simply open the Render As window and select Video for Windows. Select the first template NTSC DV or any template for that matter. Then click on the Customize Template box. Under Video format, select Lagarith. You will then need to specify the Frame size, Frame rate, Field order and Pixel aspect ratio based on your project settings. Then add your new template name to the top Template box and click on the Save icon. You have now created your own template.

It sounds like you must have added the Current Project as well as the Regions. Regardless, once you’ve completed your Add Jobs window, and hit OK, you should see the regions that are queued. If the entire project is also listed, simply select it and then click the delete icon. Nothing will happen until you click on the Render icon.

As Pete suggested, for basic cuts editing, auto ripple is the way to go. However, a word of caution. Once you have finished assembling your events, turn if Off. If you begin adding music, titles, still images, etc., it is very easy to really mess up your timeline and lose a lot of your work.

Then its something wrong with my computer and my phone?
Or maybe your internet connection or provider? Again, plays perfectly from 360 to 1080P and the sound is very good. No garbling, whatsoever. Have you tried playing other YT videos? Very strange.

That’s really terrible. What a bummer! Hopefully, you still have your old system to carry on till you get the new one up and running again. Good luck.
