Hi Mark

I am currently editing off a Drobo. My boss keeps getting frustrated because of Dropped Frames in FCP affecting his viewing of our video’s, could this be the Drobo’s fault? I am using the 4drive drobo.

Thanks for the help Andrij! I sent in the video and the client said the picture and audio were fine, however, something was still wrong with the format. This is what they said: “There seems to be a format problem though. The file isn’t IMX D-10 compliant, because the bitrate is not constant and thus the VBV buffer size gets too big.”

Any suggestions on how to fix this? I am currently using “Sony XDCAM Transfer Package V2.12.0 + FAM Driver V2.3 “. Do you have any suggestions on different XDCAM transfer programmes? or am I looking for a later version of this one?

Hi Andrij

I just got a mail from my boss stating that we need to export to IMX30 D10 MXF, however, when I clicked on your link nothing came up. I am based in South Africa. Does anyone know of a good plug-in or site I can use for free at first? As a trial?
