Iphone records h.264 encoded MOV which uses temporal compression.
AE needs complete information for each and every frame.
This results in wide variety of problems.I would suggest you to export the file using Adobe Media Encoder with a different codec.

After Effects CS6 has new 3D Camera Tracker feature that can export Tracker data for Cinema4D R13 and above. Since you have both software available you can use this feature.

Everyone will give different advice as it depends on personal ease of using the softwares. I prefer Boujou and SynthEyes though.

This is because your Compositio Resolution is set to Half and Ram preview resolution to 1/4.
Spacebar preview is Standard Preview that is different from Ram Preview.

When it comes to animating text with speech, the first thing that comes up is Typography.
Just give it a try for one Para of dialogue and see if it is doing well.
You can search Typography on Youtube to learn how creatively you can use texts in you videos.
