It looks fine, just be ready for some hefty render times. I would turn it off until you’re ready to export.

The 22″ (Not 5K) has an an i7 option. If you’re traveling a lot, then the MBP would be fine, but for desktop it’s the next best thing after the MacPro.
The MBP processor slows down a lot once it gets hot to keep from overheating, and the 5K iMac uses a lot of processing for the display itself.
So unless you are editing 4K or traveling, I’d suggest iMac HD.

My advice would be going through Audition if you have it. You just capture a noise print in a silent area, then apply the Denoiser, it works very well.

Hi Michael,
Can you post your timeline / export screenshots?
It’s could also be a program window bug. Have you tried exporting to see if it appears in Quicktime?

July 14, 2015 at 10:02 pm in reply to: H.264 blu-ray export from Premier Pro CC and Encore CS6Here’s my recommendation. Export to Prores, or uncompressed and let Encore do the compression. I find that even with the correct format, Encore seems to recompress the footage you bring in.

Hey Todd,
Which fixtures have you bought? Most of the panels I’ve tried had an awful look to them, especially on faces.
It seemed impossible to get rid of the harshness without killing most of the output. That was a couple of years ago, so maybe I’m missing out.

Absolutely, while I haven’t seen every single LED fixture out there, I’ll take Diva 400 over an LED panel any day.

Hard to tell how long it would take, it really depends on so many factors. Blur, for example, will drastically slow things down. As well as filters like Magic Bullets, etc.
If you are not up/dowconverting, make sure to uncheck “Maximum render quality”. In most cases, I can get real time or better export times on a Mac Pro, even an older one (2011 and later).
I’ve seen a 10 hours export on a 2 hour video not so long ago 🙂
