David, My set up is: Mac to sony deck via firewire; deck to monitor via S-video cable & RCA jack for audio. The last time I worked in FC (a few months ago) it was was working fine. Now, it is partially working in that when the playhead is parked in the timeline, the image shows up on my ex monitor as well as in the canvas; but when I play the sequence, the image appears only in the canvas. Once I stop the playback, the updated image appears on the ex monitor. So some signal is getting through.
