Hi Roland, I updated the post so you can see the progress.
thanks a lot for your help!

wow that sounds awesome. One thing, why the puppet tool shouldnt be enough for this?

roland, I have trying the freeform, which is basically a mesh like in Photoshop. I was wondering , do you think it could be a good idea having some pattern in the wall? Over a simple wall, the result it is not amazing. Maybe simulating drops shadows as well…

oh really? that sounds good, I have seen some transformation with that plugin, but for isolated elements, not for parts of some elements.
Let me see I will come back to you.
Many thanks

Hi Roland , thanks for your reply..
see this is the wall without being affected..
https://lh5.googleusercontent.com/-Htu8UCAo3Xk/TrAOTYtJPQI/AAAAAAAAAVo/BxIX1fbvFwc/s800/wall.jpg
and this is more or less what I want to achieve
https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/-kmST_KxYF-c/TrAOTbEBQLI/AAAAAAAAAVk/8_-3hWtB4Wg/s800/wallafter.jpgBasically there is a part of the wall which inflates, giving the illusion of a 3d movement. Is this possible to do in after effect or should I try with 3D?
Many thanks

Hi Roland, sorry for the confusion…
when I mean to clone the skin, I mean this:
Which this cloned skin should over the tracked face.
and over this skin should be this burning papper effect , something like this:
It makes ssome sense now?
Many thanks.

Thanks a lot Anders,
this tutorial is amazing. I will be a try.
thanks a lot too Roland. In theory, we want for the face basically to blur the nose, eyes and mouth. It is kind a effect similar to Sunshine for the spotless mind, where there is a frame where the doctor has the face blurred with Skin.
so I guess we do not need to clone the mouth, eyes and nose. Which it could be interesting filing that part with skin texture, maybe in 3d.
Later over this skin including this burning paper effect.
One of my friends recommended me to create small circles of green around the silhouette of the face I will blur. so using this green point I can track with mocha and including on here this composition with the skin and burning effect.
it makes sense??
Doing a few safety shoots would be a great idea.
Many thanks.

but that is for the whole scene not?

August 23, 2011 at 8:45 am in reply to: Better OS for Cinema 4D and After Effects?Well, in my case, I have been using my macbook pro and my osx, everything runs way better than in native windows. And not only that, including windows with parallels, was kind of mistake too, because you are running virtually windows on a mac, so most of the applications does not run really well..
My advice, use only snow leopard, the best option for now.
