    It is progressive and looks good.

    It is interlaced but still detail is acceptable and looks good on TV monitor.

    As you can see the HDV part on the right lost detail and looks pretty bad.

    I did convert the HDV video to 1920×1080, 25.000 fps before importing in the project. I did it in Sony Vegas 10. I used project template “HDV 1080-60i (1440×1080, 29.970 fps)” and render template “Blu-ray 1920×1080-50i”. Since the same render template is used for the final project, I assumed the HDV part is NOT re-compressed one more time (just cropped).

    I was hoping I can find some good tutorial for achieving best results when converting from HDV 1080-60i to Blu-ray 1920×1080-50i.

    Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
