If using windows, go to “C:\Users\’Your User Here’\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\”,
then erase both “Media Cache Files” and “Media Cache” content. Open your project,
premiere will conform the files again, with correct audio this time.
It worked for me.

Better later than never… You must clear the cache at:
“C:\Users\’Your User Here’\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache”
And:
“C:\Users\’Your User Here’\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\Media Cache Files”
When you open the project, premiere repeat the conform, it worked for me.
