i tried quicktime with animation and then quicktime as DV-PAL, these settings seem fine as far as quality, compatibility and file size are concerned but i keep getting a thin black line at the top of the screen? it’s not there when i export as reference files and i’ve set everything to 4:3 720×576 so i have no idea why it’s there? thanks again for your help.
p.s the files don’t need to include timecodes and tape information because they are only going in a quick edit so it’s not a problem if it’s lost.

that’s great thanks kindly, i noticed it works by either doing “invert” or “swap sources” is there any difference? and is one better to use than the other? thanks again
