  • Hi,

    This just in from Rode.

    Hi Ty,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have seen this before with our Lav’s and Headsets, the connection near the Jack can fail over time with usage, best thing is to reach out to the Team via Service@rode.com and they can take a look at it.

Hello Rich and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum!
Without knowing a lot more about your specific venue, making recommendations is fraught with peril. How big is the space? How many people were there?
You said no one could hear anything. LITERALLY?
Even good, basic PA audio is not plug and play (as you have experienced).

Can you please be more specific and also post without all of the formatting cha-cha-cha?

    Thanks,

    Ty Ford

Hello Charles and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
In looking at your link, the cuxnoo shortie may be the one.
It’s cheap enough to try. Please let us know how/if it works!

    Hi Mark,

Too many variables for me. Have you tried JWSound?

    Hello Stacey,
Welcome to the Cow Audio forum. The further one wanders from professional audio gear and its professional operation, the closer one gets to audio disaster. Good audio is never just plug and play. Can you achieve good audio with an Android? I don’t know.

My son, you are absolved from all of your sins if you repent now and use copious amounts of WD40.

Hello Nathan and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

I can’t say from here. Uninstalling by itself is not usual.

Hello Xavier and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.
I’ve been using Pro Tools for about 15 years. I’ve been using Logic Pro for about 3 years.

I just opened Logic Pro on my lap top and opened 5 projects. I’d have to have multiple screens to work that way or it would drive me crazy. I’m pretty sure my Pro Tools 11 will only open one project at a time.

I do produce podcasts on Pro Tools. You can hear some of them here. https://www.npr.org/podcasts/749070850/poe-theatre-on-the-air

I like the way Pro Tools works. One of the reasons I’d use Pro Tools over Logic Pro is that I know Pro Tools much better and it seems to be streamlined for audio production. Logic Pro has a lot more going for it if you’re composing music. The number of and quality of the samples and sequences are pretty amazing. As a guitar player, I’m creating music like I never did before without picking a string! Like this piece. All done in Logic Pro.
