    Hi,

Before I reached out to Rode I just thought I’d check if anyone else has had the same problem I have and if anyone has a solution for it.

I own multiple lav microphones, both Sennheiser’s (MKE2 & ME2). In the past I’ve had no issues with these on my rode wireless filmmaker system.

I’ve noticed lately that if any of the lavs are touched in anyway up near the connector that the audio will violently pop/crackle.

However when I plug these microphones in to my AVX system I have no issue if I do the same thing. Perhaps my rode kit is now faulty?

This makes filming extremely difficult and it is now at the point where a presenter can barely move if I use the rode system without causing problems.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    This just in from Rode.

    Hi Ty,

Thank you for bringing this to our attention, we have seen this before with our Lav’s and Headsets, the connection near the Jack can fail over time with usage, best thing is to reach out to the Team via Service@rode.com and they can take a look at it.
