The headphone amp in that guitar amp doesn’t have enough power to power a decent sized speaker. IN trying you may well overtax the system power supply and increase the overall distortion.

There appear to be no other output jacks. That leaves you with the possibility of opening the amp, disconnecting the amp speakers and running a pair to the external speakers you have.

Another solution to bigger sound is to get a direct box with two outputs. Run one to your old amp. Get another amp (with speaker) and plug the other output of the direct box into that amp.

Dave is right. Even among different cassette machines the speed varies. I’d put your project in the close to hopeless category, or, at best, the “you can’t afford it” category.

Preamps are used to raise the level of a mic to line level.

You need an amp to power your new speakers. You can probably find a cheap one at radio shack, circuti city or best buy.

input pads on cameras usually referred to as attenuators, usually aren’t designed to knock line level down to mic level.

Yes, in the right circumstances, with the mic placed in the correct position with the person being miced not moving around much, the proper boom mic will result in better sound, but there are any number of situations in which the lav will win over the boom.

From the way you describe them, they require a power amp.

The headphone output jack on your MacBook doesn’t have the power to make ’em play (or not very loudly).

If the jack on the MacBook is the usual 1/8″ TRS, you need a cable that has a male TRS on one end (to plug into the computer) and male RCA or 1/4″ plugs to plug into whatever power amp you buy.

Have you ever read the notices on youtube that ask if you have the rights to post whatever it is you want to post? They’re there. You do not own the rights to the music you want to use.

Public exposure on a website? Nope, that’s you publicly publishing the material you don’t own.

People violate copyright and mechanical license rights all the time, but it is illegal. That’s a short word that means you are stealing from someone for your (or someone else’s) use.

And really, you’re stealing twice. The intellectual rights from the owner of the copyright and again from the musicians who were playing and singing.

Warner Brothers own the rights to the song Happy Birthday. They paid about 25 MILLION dollars for that right which brings in a reported 2 million dollars per year in licensing. See more for details: https://www.snopes.com/music/songs/birthday.asp
