Thanks Guys,
I was getting there too, but just wanted to make sure before I go and do a factory defaults reset to get everything back to square one. (I thought) We did only an adjustment to the luma in order to solve an issue with the GDP Lut box in a fast paced environment, who knows what may have been left as a hidden ‘treat’ for me in the menu system that a reset would eliminate.

I’ve seen something similar. How have you been trying to open the autosaves? If from within fcp try just opening it from the finder (without fcp running) When I had it I had to open up the autosave and replace the ‘real’ project file. Keep in mind that the autosaves are just project files that fcp ‘keeps an eye on’.

I have seen this happening. It did both unexplicably quit and froze the whole machine- no mouse or anything. I reseated the ram and video card then I re-installed the 5.1.4 update. All seems to be fine now. (we’re on mac pros, 4gb ram, and os10.4.9)

Twixtor is a ‘maybe’ as a plug in option. It produces very good images (no banding/ motion blur) but it’s about as slow as molases ; even on a new quad macpro.
