I actually just tried that and am still having the same issue. I tried uninstalling Premiere and reinstalling it to no avail. I also just tried renaming folders – it did nothing. I’ve tried looking for a bad video clip if perhaps a single clip is causing it to fail, but I can’t find anything.
The last change I made to the project (before it started freezing) was to add a few rolling credits, which I couldn’t imagine would be the cause of my trouble.
I’m still at square one. It must have something to do with a corrupt file or the way Premiere is reading my files since I can open different projects with different video clips, but I’m not sure what to try next.
To top it all off, the very first time I opened Premiere after reinstalling it, I got a memory_management 0x0000001A blue screen error. After the computer rebooted, I haven’t received that error again…
