Here it is again, right before I say “Uh” at the end. Recording on 16-bit. Very small dot was on the waveform. This time, recorded on Adobe Audition. Need to get rid of these small pops. Any help or advice would be great.

Maybe I described the noise with the wrong word, but there’s that type of electric shock sound. Could that just be because I record in 32-bit float?

Here’s an audio file. It’s the second noise/pop that’s the issue. And this actually occurred while recording on Adobe Audition. It was a little softer than Audacity, but it’s still happening. And again, we don’t hear this during the recording. It’s just on there after.

If it does show up in waveform, it’s tough to tell. But I do know we definitely don’t hear it while recording.

I tried to “normalize” it and there’s an option then to “remove DC offset.” I’ve tried it both ways and it does not affect it either way.

It doesn’t happen all the time. We tried shutting wireless internet and bluetooth off while recording yesterday, and the noise didn’t happen. We’re hoping it’s either that or static of some sort.

No, these noises don’t show up in waveform. And they are not heard while recording. Only heard in playback.

What cable is bad? The microphone cable? Or cable from mixer board?
