I have also tried in toast to not let the maxium bitrate to go past 7.0. I have not looked at it on a ntsc television yet, so I don’t know how it works. I will try your and look at them side by side.

I am now doing a work around. I copy the clip and paste it in a new sequence. My speed changes work well there. I still don’t know what the problem is, but I will work on that after I finish this project.

I am having the same problem. I have speeded up a clip over and over, and then all of a sudden, I too started getting the error message, “unable to complete command. A conflict occurred during a trim operation.”

I put the clip in the viewer, and it still didn’t work!

Ok I got it!!

I used compressor and the codec H.264 300kbps. It dropped the 397MB down to 4.2MB. In the test email to myself, it attached in about four mins, and on receiving the email, it didn’t play on opening, but it did download in about two minutes and plays well with good quality.

Sorry about that, but damn the movie is only 1 minute 49 sec.. It doesn’t seem like it would be so difficult. Exporting out of FC, I was at 397MB.

Thanks for the info, but unfortunately, I am being asked to send it as a quicktime file. I have opened the movie in QT and exported it a QVGA. The 397Mb file is now 50Mb, but that still does not get for me.

I am thinking about idisk, where I will send them a link, they can download, but I am not only new to FC, but Idisk. Perhaps you tell, I am a PC baby.

So, we will see. Any other help is appreciated.
