LT is not available with FCP6, only with FCP7. 6 came with ProRes and ProRes HQ. 7 added Proxy, LT, and 4444.

I think by the time Lion is shipping Studio will no longer be for sale online and DVDSP will go with it.

I’d guess Apple will keep FCS and the upgrade for a while. I think as Motion and STP and maybe Color get upgraded they’ll become available as separate downloads. Somewhere around there FCS will disappear. Cinema Tools may become a free download. Compressor will come soon too I think. I don’t think there will ever be a DVDSP available for download. Any DVD creation will be built into the Compressor templates functions. For full DVD functionality I think Apple will make people look elsewhere. They are so convinced the silver disc is history.

I’ll be curious to see if Apple will continue to sell Studio upgrades after the release of FCP X. There is still a market for a suite of applications I think.

I don’t think there’s any subclip function in FCP X as we understand it. There are favorites and keyworded sections which behave as subclips when their in a smart collection.
