A link to what you’re talking about is always helpful 🙂

Well, since you know the basics of organizing your images on the timeline, it’s just a matter of presenting the image sequence in a manner that’s pleasing to the eye.

One method that works well for me is to use pre-matted footage of ink bleeds or other organic flows as a track mat for my image.

That way, I can blend the images together.

To do this, place your pre-matted footage above your image, then select “Track Matte” on your image layer, and set it to “Luminescence ‘name'” where “name” is the name of your footage.

This is only one way to blend images. There are many others.

At :17, I think that’s Video Co-Pilot Twitch. It’s a plugin from Andrew Kramer. I could be wrong though. If that’s Twitch, it’s set really low, but that’s still my best guess. Of course you can do this without a plugin, but I can’t tell you how.

As for the other one, aren’t they just moving the camera quickly through 3D space?

I’m by no means an AE expert. I’m sure you’ll get a better answer from one of the experts.

    Thanks Stephen, I’ll try that.

I actually do have most of Andrew’s products, as well as a lot of Red Giant tools, and I did use one of his flairs in that shot, it just doesn’t show very much. I reworked the shot, and I think I’m using his glorious flairs better now.

If it’s a single image, why not just tweak it in PS?
