Oh, I figured it out that day by going to Best Buy and buying one of those Octopus like converters that have ALL options at the end. The USB worked. Then I had to find out the hard way downloading drivers was necessary before a connection could be made. Bunch bull****, but I got it done, than guys!

I see the USB port, but is there a cord that can import the MXF files straight from the HVX to the USB on my comp?

Oh, I’m sorry. My track Matte is on a layer in between the footage of the DJ and the footage of his laptop, on layer two. I didn’t think to count it, sorry.

The color on the left side of the screen is the color of the image behind it. Here are the layers:

    4(top)-The image in the letterbox
3-The title ‘Sounds By DJ Mo Beatz’
2-The picture of the black and white laptop
    1-The picture of the DJ

I WANT layer 2 to fade in opacity being 100% on the left and 0% on the right and for layer 1, I want the opposite.

In that picture, I would like the DJ’s laptop DJing program to be to the left and fade off into a video of him DJing on the right. The suggestion that I was previously told in this thread helped me to pull this image off, but the only thing is, as you can see, the laptop image on the left is in black and white… I would like it in color.

That worked, but it’s black and white….
