do you know what forum you are in ?

You OWN both type systems and the software ? why don’t YOU load some footage into both systems and see what YOU like to edit with. What difference does it make what everyone else thinks here ? when its YOU that will be working on the project. when I go buy a new car I test drive them and don’t ask the dealer what he likes best

You also need to go to a good dealer and make your own mind up and not just because everyone else here says so.

You might have better luck in another forum other than After Effects. Might start looking in a logical place like B & H who sells such equiptment and has prices too ! Here you are just going to get a bunch replies that have been hashed about a million times before.

Have you looked at the Adobe web site ?

or did you capture your video and audio to your system drive ? I had similar troubles till I put video and audio on their own drives

Seems a simple a solution here, if Vegas works for you it, why don’t you use it ?
