If there was not motion you could either repeat the previous or the following frame twice to cover this bad frame. But since there is motion Im not aware of any fix. Sometimes when I get wonky footage I will place it in AE which can help me solve issues sometimes.

To take advantage of the CS5.5 MPE system you need FAST hard drives (Firewire doesn’t cut it),a CUDA supporting graphics card, lots of ram and at least a dual quad CPU (the faster the better). The lack of any of these elements will slow you down . Take a look at my signature. You will see a system that has no lag and no issues. Thought its true, the newer Macs seems to have some issues the older ones dont. Some folks say that Lion cleared up the lag, but I cant corroborate that myself.

Pierre, before you make any decisions, I suggest you get input from some very knowledgeable folks at the Adobe Hardware forum. These people have been using PrP with PCs for a while and might have some helpful input into your investment for the future.

Pierre,set your Preview settings at the bottom of the Sequence Settings screen to MPEG I Frame. It should speed up things during the editing process.That affects ONLY the Previewing function while you cut your project together. PrP works differently than FCP in how you set up your Sequence Settings.
PrP doesnt care what you want to output the sequence as at first, it just needs to know frame size, aspect ratio,frame rate and fields. When you are ready to OUTPUT you can select Prores from the EXPORT options.. Ideally you should set your Preferences for importing audio from default to Mono so split tracks are more controllable. You can Modify the clip (right click on clip) from Stereo to Mono is you havent edited them into the timeline. If you HAVE edited them into the timeline then use the Audio Effect Fill Left or Fill Right to have one of the tracks playback on on outputs.

If you have FCP on your computer than you have the ability to play back and encode Prores.

If you dont own FCP, you can download only the decoder for the Mac…

This is my perspective on it. There are 2 ways to do this.

1. If you can get a total picture lock on your project, Audition offers lots of things to take advantage of. Like a library of music/sfx as well as an abundant amount of nondestructive efx thru the racks.

2. I tend to send just clips to Audition because the projects I work on never really are totally locked. Therefore, fixing noise or adding certain effects that PrP may not have (though it does have a good selection) is my preference. That way if I need to lengthen or shorten a project its very easy to do. Trying to do that with a mix from Audition could be a time consuming PITA.
