    Kennith, I’d say no. I edit and export a one hour, 4cam, MultiCamEdit every week and CS6 does great. I’ve produced wedding videos, dance recital videos, event videos, etc. successfully over the past 5 years with CS6. Even with added color grading and looks, CS6 does everything I need. Just be sure and make use of the Mercury Playback Engine, it’s rather amazing.

  • Thanks Danny and Aaron. This gets me started. I always use 7200 rpm drives, sata and esata and with an i7 processor and 32 gig of ram, I should be okay. I’ve just got to get familiar with the separate processes. I’d rather not have too much coming in and out of the same drive at the same time. I think that is important. If that’s possible.
