I think I posted this in a thread last week… The polka dot tutorial.

That’s what happens when you don’t keep up at all the forums… Something sneaks by ya. Thanks for the info! TC

[scott] “Are Apple planning to improve slomo within FCP”

Doubtful. All the NLEs I’ve ever used have had the same issues. Whether it’s AVID, Media100, or FCP. Personally, I like to add the Blend Fields free plug-in after a slomo. Gets rid of the messy interlace issues, or Nattress’ Film FX plug-in. Depending on what I’m doing.

Sorry Chris. I misread your post. I believe you are correct. The KEYFRAMES for the filters don’t paste, just the filters. My bad. TC

[Chris Poisson] “Doesn’t work in my 4.5. Only on basic motion, scale etc. not on filters. It pastes the filter but not the keyframes.”

Interesting… I used it frequently in the last week for video filters and audio filters. I’ve gotten quite attached to it. Guess I better not upgrade. ;^) TC

Works in 4.5 too. Unless I’ve got a bug in my software that reinstates the broken “feature”. TC

In Title3D (Boris), you can right align your text. But since you have all 50 already made, you may be better off just adjusting your position in the controls tab. TC

I utilize the Paste Attributes all the time for copying keyframes.
Just copy your keyframed clip, and ctrl-click on the new clip, select Paste Attributes, and select Basic Motion, or whatever other attributes you have changed. TC

Actually, when using Title3D don’t use the motion tab – at all… Use the controls tab. You can move the text around without it getting fuzzy, and not even worry about using an even integer because it will stay vector until rendered. You’ll get nice, clean edges.

This sounds almost like the old polka dots tutorial than newsprint…
