This just saved me so much time! Just yesterday I had to open an old show and re-edit it, a show from a long, long time ago. It had been archived quite some time ago. When I opened it, it had to first convert to the new version of FCPX on my computer. When I finally opened it, the titles were all offline. They did appear properly in the timeline, but I just saw the large red “T” screen where the text should have been. At first, I thought I had made the archive wrong. Fortunately, I found this discussion and used this app to research the issue. What had happened is that: 1. I had upgraded my boot drive over a year ago. 2. And I downloaded and reinstalled all the FCPX titles I had purchased on the new drive. However, the reinstalled titles had been updated by their authors and had slightly different file path names. Fortunately, I still had the old boot drive and using this app was able to identify the problem and fix it by simply copy and pasting the older title folders into the new boot drive folder. As they had slightly different names than the updated versions, there was no file name conflict, and all the titles are back. This is the closest thing to magic for this month for me!
Thanks a ton!
