In After Effects, right click on a clip and choose Time / Enable Time Remapping. Pixel Motion is a switch (like Motion Blur). Check out the tutorial section on http://www.videocopilot.net and watch the Time Remapping tutorial.
The camera doesn’t do the slow motion. But you do have to pump up the shutter speed. The slow mo work is done in an editing program. After Effects would be the best at it.
No, don’t “shoot” with the camera onto tape. Get an HD capture card and feed that with a signal from the camera. Capture with the computer. This way, the signal isn’t being compressed with an HDV codec. It’s a real HD signal.
