Can CS3 & CS4 coexist on the same machine?
Or would installing CS4 overwrite some common files and screw up CS3?

I have three versions of PPro happily co-existing on one machine.
The only caveat is that when you install third-party plug-ins they will only be aware of the last version that you installed.
