Slow Motion with XH A1
What is the best way to archieve a smooth, professional slow motion with the Canon XH A1?

The camera doesn’t do the slow motion. But you do have to pump up the shutter speed. The slow mo work is done in an editing program. After Effects would be the best at it.

I use After Effects, im a intermediate level, but dont know what exctly is pixel motion and how to archieve the look in the video with a clip shot at a high shutter speed. Would I have to do it with Time Strech? and Pixel motion option and thats it?

In After Effects, right click on a clip and choose Time / Enable Time Remapping. Pixel Motion is a switch (like Motion Blur). Check out the tutorial section on http://www.videocopilot.net and watch the Time Remapping tutorial.

I hear you can achieve a good slo-mo with any 60i camcorder so long as you shoot with ample light and a shutter speed of 1/120th.
Shooting progressively won’t be as good as shooting 60i.
