One possible work around is to create the initial audio cross dissolve effect using keyframes on the waveform (Option K) as opposed to the cross dissolve transition. That doesnt seem to bring out the bug.

Bret…that’s 100% the issue…if i remove the audio crossfade at the beginning of the clip, the issue is resolved and the audio plays normally throughout.

I havent noticed this happening before…any reason to cause it or a solution to fix?

The external is a Mac-formatted 3TB SATA drive in a USB external dock.

November 5, 2012 at 6:33 pm in reply to: Weird Tint in Alpha Channel

Unfortunately, this was not my Motion project, it was a download from an internet stock source.

I have just now downloaded another lower third clip from the same site in the same codec with no tint issues.

Could be just an issue with that specific one?

June 4, 2012 at 4:31 pm in reply to: Don’t know why this worked?

So, when you highlight 2 audio tracks and select “Stereo Pair”, it essentially hard pans left/right respectively?

Also, if the incoming audio was 2 channels out of phase, would this be noticeable to the person monitoring the record at the KiPro? (Either on the levels meter, or in the headphones?)

    Thanks!!!
    This worked beautifully!!

I’d still like to know why it was happening if possible, but the issue is resolved!
