Who knows? Maybe because editors use Photoshop, etc and so don’t bother posting their dislike in all forums. Though I don’t love it my problem is not with the subscription model. I’m afraid that is just the wave of the future. My concern – well, my principal concern – was the difficulty I had when apps decided not to open. It was nightmarish and I can only hope it doesn’t happen again. I also don’t like that doing a clean install (which sometimes has to happen) of all the apps is not really a practical option with CC.
Uninstalling and the reinstalling one by one is a real pain.

No worries. I am quite dull and often don’t know for years that I have even been insulted. And I agree that Dennis has been very helpful on these forums.

I know the point at which my nose ends (farther away from my eyes than I would like) and I quite often look beyond it. I do not think that is it is ranting or whining to point out a problem which many people have and that no one at Adobe will directly (or even indirectly, for that matter) respond to. And I don’t think I insulted anyone.

Nice to hear from you Dennis. As Jeremy suggested I will try to get a response in Walter Biscardi’s thread.
But I would love to hear your thoughts on nearly three hours on Adobe chat and finally the only thing that worked was to create a new admin account. And after my sojourn with chat I did research and found that I was not even close to the only one who had this problem and that the solution, after over a year, is still the same – and unacceptable. And – just so you are clear – pretty much everybody here is on there own time.

Well Jeremy, my question was where are they in this thread. But just for fun I will jump on the thread you reference and try to get an answer as to why the ONLY “workaround” to an issue that has been (according to my research) been going on for well over a year) is to create a new admin account. Which, by the way is absolutely ridiculous. I’ll let you know what happens.

Read it. Not even remotely a response to my question. Where are these people who find it convenient to comment in these forums when it suits them and evaporate when it does not?

Time will certainly tell. As previously stated I have had issues with CC. My internet provider? Maybe but I doubt it. As far as support goes I will admit that Apple charges you to put yo through hell. Adobe does t for free.
