Okay anyway then, it seems my vegas has issue in general to update its media files (if I change a picture file for instance it never gets updated). Thanks for the help anyway !

Second thing, I did not find the private message question John, so I’ll post my question here.
Can you please tell me what are the different features you find the most useful with BCC ? There are so many, and many seems good but I’m just curious about which one is a dealbreaker (just like the tracking feature).

  • No, It was not, it was on “Time & Frames”, I changed it to ” SMPTE Film Sync IVTC (23.976 fps Video)”. But I still get one frame before on the previsualisation tab when I hit at the beginning of a clip

  • Quantize to frame is On.

  • @Phil Peacock
    Yeah snapping is on.

Well I noticed my playhead is not exactly at the begining of the clip on this picture but it does the same even if i perfectly placed it at the beginning of the second clip.
    See :

You’ll notice that my cursor is on the very first keyframe of the white clip and that it shows me red.

Thank you I did not notice that option. Nevertheless, it does not work, even if I keep saving it, it just does not refresh.
Maybe I need to check or uncheck something in my preferences ?

Put your track mode in “Alpha Source 3D” then in the track movement windows create 2 keyframes and change the “Y” orientation of the second keyframe.
It will spin it but won’t show an other face of the card, it will just show it upside down.

Well I wa wrong, the nesting thing is pretty easy. But I got one annoying issue :

    1) I put project A in the timeline of project B
    2) It works great
    3) Later I change something in project A, I save it
    4) In project B, project A does not get updated even if I saved project A.

How can I fix that ? Instead of saving project A with another project name and put it back inside project B…

  • It is on.

  • Thanks for the answers guys I appreciate it a lot !
I do use the multi-camera editing option (very handy btw) when the 2 cameras are rolling all the time and shooting the exact same subject, like for an interview but this is absolutely not the case here.
My clips are mainly composed of b roll.
Jorma Nippala this is a great idea too, I don’t know why I never thought about it before ! I Love it ! Am gonna save a lot of time thanks to your suggestions guys 😉

  • Yep, I’m doing a 2 camera edit, exactly this 😉
