Yes indeed, I’m using Looks 3.0, that’s because of the of the LUT pluggin, the 2.5 have a LUT option ?
EDIT : Oh yes it has, awesomme, am gonna downgrade then 😉 thank you for the advice.

Thanks for the answer I have a GT425M nvidia card by the way.

But it’s not even related to previsualisation, even if I close it, it will take a long time. Nobody have any clue ? What can I do about it ? This is really time consuming for me…

Well this is more complicated than that.
This does not concern my camera, I often do videos that contain multiple cips found on the Internet in various places. Problem is, I can find a codec that works, but then the bitrates associated to it would decrease the quality so I’d have to go back and increase the bitrate, which is a very painstaking process…

I just wish I could have that list and be like “hey I might be able to install that codec” no need for conversion, vegas will work with it(DNxHD is a great example of that (maybe not the only one ?).

I’m just surprised there is no such list, seems to me like a basic thing, isn’it ? I mean there are so many different spec explained everywhere, why not codecs ?

Russ you made it totally clear ! Thank you. I totally get it now especailly because I shoot all my footage on Visioncolor picture profile, grading using their LUT so I have a sort of idea about saving time in color correction ^^

All right, thanks for the answer, yes it’s for an internet use.

I was just woried to sort of lag my footage while redenring them to a higher fps that they really are.
