I should’ve done more in-depth research before purchasing a demo 700. Since I’d imported MOV and MP4 into Vegas 10 previously, I figured this would just make things easier. Costly mistake.

I’ve not been able to use any of my footage so far. One of the threads I read recommended using a converter at iOrgSoft.com. Well, they got my $41 two days ago, and I still can’t use the license code to unlock the converter I downloaded from them. No response from them, even after repeated emails.

While the HM700 is a pretty cam with pretty pictures, it appears to be a very focused marketing attempt to grab FCP editors, even to the exclusion of everyone else. So far, I’m extremely frustrated and disappointed.
