Hi I got a short question:
Are there other node based apps than Fusion Shake and Inferno?
Because I’m waiting for the learners Edition of Fusion 5 since 4 Months or smth like that.
And it would be cool if they got a Trial, or better a learnersversion available.
Thanks

I would say that they duplicated it a few times and than they zoomed in and put an echo on it.
That’s the way I would do it.

do you have something like a door as a portal or does you person just appear anywhere ?
But att all I would try it with displacement maps. just to get some motion and distortion in the area of your image where the person will appear and than do something like that: https://members.lightbound.com/~artsy1gal/xporter/xportertut.html

This one might help: https://www.panopticum.com/ae/water/water.shtml
But I don’t got any Idea if it’s a good one or if its crap. So I hardly don’t know anything about it. But I think you can downlad a trial and test it.

You also could do it that way:
If you doubleclick on a layer you get into a special window ( I don’t know the name, but I think you know what I mean). And there you have an eraser tool and I just startet at 0:00 to erase the last bit, that at 0:50 I took out more of it, and it was quiete fast because Of the Interpolation between the points You can always make bigger parts at one time. And after that you go back into your comp window and just reverse it.
Done.
Maybe that’s a better way for you.
