Just tried it on another machine. Same problems.

Playing it back as a mpeg2 at 30 fps gives much better results.
I get even better results changing the setting to mpeg2 60fps with same play back speed.
Thou it still jolts a little in similar locations it is much harder to tell.

There is no motion blur on the renders.
Would that have anything to do with my problems?

    Thanks again

I sent a file with the data rate knocked down to 5000
It plays a little smoother but still jolts, just not as much.

So I’m guessing it is related to one of the other settings.

Sorry did not do the advanced tab

    Here it is:

    (Key Frame Every: 240 Frames
Auto Key Frame on Scene Change: Checked
Slider between Rare and Frequent is set to:50

    AVC Profile: High
    Interlace Mode: Progressive
    Field Order: Greyed Out
    Encoding Effort: Best
    B-Frames: 2
    CABAC Coding: No
    Slices: 0)

I am going to send a test now with the data rate knocked down.

    Audio Side
    (Audio: Checked On

    Codec: ATSC A/52
    Data Rate: 640kps
    Sample Size: 16
    Sample Rate: 4800
    Channels: 5.1 )

    Video Side
    (Video: Checked On
    Codec: MainConcept H.264

    Frame Size: 1280W x 720H
Display Aspect Ratio Policy: Letter Box or Pillar

Their is no audio in the original format

Thanks for taking the time to help me out.

    Thanks,
Just tried playing it back on VLC.
I got a significant better result only slightly choppy every once in a while. Seems to be random now where the picture will sort of jolt.

    Now I am really confused.

Ideally I would want the video to be able to be played back through QuickTime since most people would not be familiar with VLC

More Info: The original video was created out of frames rendered then exported out of premiere as Quicktime Animation.
Next the video is exported out of sorenson media encoder under the preset for Bluray 720P – Mpeg4 the only setting changed was the frame rate to 30fps to match the existing speed of my footage.

I am not sure why quicktime can not play it back smoothly?
I am still confused on why the video would randomly jolt yet still play back smooth on the usb player?
Especially since movie trailers from quicktime that are encoded H264 playback well.
I realize I am likely missing something simple just not sure what.
    I appreciate the help.
