    Thanks for your help again

    When I disconnect my dv camera I can play the footage fine without the error message NOt sure what this means.

    The problem now is ever since that error message appeared Avid says there a error with my deck.

    It hasnt capture before in this state,

    I brought a ADS PYRO PCI card install it a still the same problem.

    In capture the footage seems to be going in.

    But when I go to play back the footage the following message appears

    Exception:ADV Audio Dev failed to set DIO Audio Sample Rate

    But it does let me scan through the footage.

    It did a early verison,

    But since then I had to change my mother board which in turn my firewire socket at the front of the computer, had to be moved to the back to a 3 socket hub, as the new board didnt have the connection.

    I check the requirments and the one thing that looks a bit wrong is the Qualified IEEE -1394 firwire port.

    On my system its is a NEC OHCI Complaint IEEE 1394 Host Controller.

    Could this be the problem
